VAIBHAVI SHAAMBHAVI FOUNDATIONInternational Coastal Cleaning Day
The 17th day of September 2022 is “International coastal cleaning day”. entire environmentalists agreed that plastics and other nonbiodegradable waste are getting dumped in the sea & river and creating tremendous hazards to our mother nature; hence a drive of cleaning the coast from this waste became symbolic awareness, as well as the practical clean up, will help to resist such pollution. Vaibhavi Saambhavi joined this program at Bagbazar Ghat and Mayer Ghat on the bank of river Ganga (officially River Hoogly). On this day a two hours long drive of cleaning waste by 40 members gave a fantastic impetus. Children and women also participated in this drive. The small tea sellers and other residents were requested to keep clean and not use plastics. Vaibhavi Saambhavi started a mission from its core area thus a successful operation completed with collective song.
Awareness Camps
People offer respect to their forefathers and parents who passed away called MAHALAYA. This also took place on the bank of our River Ganges (officially River Hoogly). Vaibhavi Saambhavi took this opportunity to spread awareness among the common worshipers to SAVE SOIL, WATER NON-POLLUTION, and Distributing drinking water to all the worshipers who gathered on the bank of this river. We observed a great response from common people. Awareness of keeping a decontaminated and clean nature was a fabulous effort from the members of the foundation. We applied to the commoners for not using plastic and nonbiodegradable items and maintaining the sanctity of the MAA GANGA. A mass awareness of several economic classes was a unique opportunity. This drive was conducted on the Bagbazar Mayer Ghat.
